LEGAL BASIS

Providing data is mandatory for everything required by legal and contractual obligations, and therefore any refusal to provide them in whole or in part may result in the inability to provide the requested services.
SSMI Europe processes the optional data of the data subject based on explicit consent, i.e., through the explicit approval of this notice, and in relation to the methods described in this notice for the purposes of:

  • storing and consulting training activities carried out to propose training activities relevant to the profile of the data subject;

CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS

All data collected and processed may be communicated exclusively for the purposes specified above to the following categories of recipients:

  • employees and collaborators of SSMI Europe authorized to process data;
  • individuals or legal entities (as Data Processors) for aspects within their competence (of a managerial, commercial nature, etc.);
  • potentially accessible to service companies or professionals for maintenance, control, or verification of the tools used for processing.

 

RETENTION PERIOD

Data mandatory for contractual and accounting purposes are retained for the entire duration of the commercial and accounting relationship.
Personal data acquired and processed for the purpose of sending via email newsletters, commercial communications, advertising material on products or services offered by the Data Controller, will be retained for 5 years from the expressed consent.
Personal data acquired and processed for the purposes of storing and consulting training activities carried out to propose training activities relevant to the data subject's profile, will be retained for 5 years from the expressed consent.
Data of those who do not purchase or use SSMI Europe services, despite having had previous contact with the company, will be immediately deleted or processed anonymously, where their retention is not otherwise justified.

DATA TRANSFER
Personal data will not be disclosed (except as above) and will not be transferred to any country outside the European Union; however, SSMI Europe reserves the possibility of using cloud services, which may involve the transfer of data outside the European Union, and in such cases, the service providers will be selected among those who provide adequate guarantees, as provided for by Art. 46 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

DATA SUBJECT'S RIGHTS

Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679, the data subject can, in the manner and within the limits provided by current legislation, exercise the following rights:
Right of Access: can request confirmation of whether or not their data is being processed;
Right of Rectification: can request modifications, updates, and corrections of data especially if they are not accurate;
Right to Erasure: can request to delete all or most of their personal data provided that the processing is no longer necessary or if there is no right/obligation by law to continue processing them;
Right to Restriction of processing: can ask us to limit the use of their personal data.
Right to Data Portability: can request a copy of their personal data.
The data subject also has the right to withdraw the Consent given to data processing at any time, the Withdrawal takes effect from the moment we become aware of it and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the previously given Consent.
Finally, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority.
